CSU-CHILL Open House: Oct 3, 2008

During the afternoon of Friday, 3 October 2008 a group of approximately 18 visitors associated with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering came to the CSU-CHILL radar site. The visitors were shown all of the major hardware elements of the radar facility (interiors of the transmitter and user vans, etc.) An item of particular interest was the new Gregorian dual offset feed antenna. Prof. V. Chandrasekar used the scaffolding to provide a closer view of the feed horn and sub-reflector area.
