RHI scan through a nearby thunderstorm RHI scan through a nearby thunderstorm

Reflectivity data collected in an RHI scan that intercepted both the intense core and the anvil echo regions of a thunderstorm located ~13 km northeast of the CSU-CHILL radar on 24 June 2014. This storm produced heavy rain and pea sized hailstones at the radar site.
