Convergence indicated by the radial velocities in a low-level PPI scan Convergence indicated by the radial velocities in a low-level PPI scan

Negative (inbound to the radar) radial velocities observed on essentially all azimuths at short ranges from the CSU-CHILL radar on 23 May 2015. This convergent flow was produced by a combination of two convective outflows that originated separately to the east and west of the radar site.
